As a first time (ever) cruiser, I was concerned about traveling alone on such a massive vessel. Actually I had all kinds of concerns a.k.a. fears about what to expect and how to handle it. I had embarrassing questions like: How will I get from one end of this city on the water, to the other end? Will I get lost in the process and forget where activities are located? With the numerous amount of rooms, will my stateroom be a tiny claustrophobic space, difficult and time-consuming to reach? Will it take half the day for me to find it?

So many questions revolving around what would happen, where it would take place and what time would I need to be there in order to participate. I had been told by friends who frequently go on cruises that there is so much to do and choose from. I don't consider myself a “worry wart”, but honestly I did worry about being overwhelmed by too many choices and putting together a daily schedule that I could enjoy and manage.

Getting on and off the ship brought it's own set of concerns. I dreaded the thought of dragging my luggage on the trek to find my stateroom. Would boarding the ship be like boarding a flight: practically strip-searched, then herded onto the plane? Oh and what about motion sickness? I had heard about putting a patch on your skin to counteract this. Nevermind, let's not even go there! Whose idea was it to take a cruise anyway???

Then I was met by Alexis from BEIJO Group. She not only asked if I had any concerns about my voyage, she understood and allayed them All! In addition to being incredibly respectful as well as personable, Alexis was thorough and efficient in her service delivery. It was clear that she had prepared for our voyage from the perspective of traveler and cruise ship director.

Every aspect of the journey from the initial boarding and final departure was explained, with that same information reiterated as we encountered each juncture. Throughout the entire trip I was made to feel as though I had her personal attention; there to assist me in whatever way possible as I attended group activities and explored on my own. Alexis was amazingly knowledgeable about the ship itself and made it surprisingly easy for me to navigate my
surroundings. I became comfortable with locating areas of interest in no time at all.

Although the scenic Alaskan glaciers and whale-watching were at the forefront of this adventure, the impeccable service provided by Alexis and BEIJO Group made the total experience both
satisfying and joyful. I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip with BEIJO Group. In fact, I'll be cruising with her again, for sure!
