Throughout history, Art has served as a source of social commentary. Petroglyphs like those found in the American West, are perhaps some of the most intriguing as there is no written language to caption the anthropomophic scratches made by ancient tribemen who scribed them. Have you ever wondered what other people’s symbols tell us about individual evolutionary patterns? Do they, in fact, tell us anything? Are they imparting ancient wisdom, or are they merely impressions or imprints? Art as social commentary can provide us tools to not only understand human consciousness from an historic perspective, but also those which can assist in ancestral healing of attitudes and limiting belief systems, neuroplastically speaking.
