Visiting an Art Gallery or museum can be a wonderful way to , not only break up, but season up a road trip. This month, we decided to take and impromptu road trip to Cincinnati, Ohio to visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. This museum, housed near the bank of the Ohio River, where many former slaves took their first steps into new lives as freedmen, is phenomenal. We especially enjoyed one of the Permanent Exhibits entitled, “Invisible: Slavery Today.” Take a sneek peak here: https://freedomcenter.org/visit/permanent-exhibits/invisible-slavery-today/
Better yet, take a road trip and see the museum in its entirety! You won’t be disappointed by this deeply moving human rights tribute.
